Child Care Fee Subsidy (CCFS) is a program offered by the Region of Peel that helps qualifying families cover the cost of licensed child care for children 6 to 12 years of age. For more information on qualifying for this program please visit peelregion.ca.
How to register
You must follow the process outlined on this page when accessing the CCFS. The City of Mississauga will not reimburse registrations that are processed by clients and paid out of pocket prior to receiving approval for Region of Peel funding.
1. Choose the type of camp
Select one of the camps from the eligible camp list. Visit Active Mississauga for full program information including camp descriptions, dates, times, and locations.
2. Complete the registration forms
Complete the Child Care Fee Subsidy Camp Registration Form and use the submit button at the bottom of the form. Your submission will be sent to the Region of Peel for approval first. Once our Customer Service Centre receives approval from your caseworker your application will be processed. Please allow five business days for the Region to provide approval of funding to the City.
Once you click submit an email should automatically open with the file attached and the sender information in the “To” section. If this does not happen you will need to save the form, manually open your email, and attach the file to an email addressed to mississaugaparks&rec@peelregion.ca and Recreation.Subsidy@mississauga.ca
3. Finalize your registration
Once confirmation of subsidy is received, the City of Mississauga staff will send an emailed receipt of registration. Please allow an additional five business days for the City to process the registration.
4. Get ready for camp
Visit our camps page to find out everything you need to be ready for an action-packed adventure! Here you will find camper information forms, camper safety documents (for allergy and medications), pick-up and drop-off policies, and any other information you will need for your first day of camp.
