Film Office

To all film clients:  The Film Office is pleased to announce that we now have a new Location Filming Permit application to better serve your needs.

Please remember, effective immediately, clients must submit all valid insurance certificates, notification letters and signature sheets (when applicable) to the Film Office via email at film.office@mississauga.ca or by fax at 905-615-3828 for all location filming agreements and road occupancy permits (ROPs).

All companies filming in the City of Mississauga must present to the Film Office, prior to permit issuance, a certificate of commercial general liability insurance with $2 million per occurrence minimum coverage (or higher limits as the City reasonably requires depending on the nature of filming) adding the City of Mississauga as an additional insured.  Productions requesting a Road Occupancy Permit must also list the Region of Peel as an additional insured.

Also, please note that the fee for ROPs is now $300 plus HST ($39) and may be paid by cash, debit, credit or certified cheque.  ROPs are to be picked up at Transportation and Works, 3185 Mavis Road,  1st Floor - Front Counter between 8:30am - 4:30pm.
