The Ontario Children's Librarian of the Year for 2006 Is Mississauga's Todd Kyle

Todd Kyle, popular for many years as children's advocate for the Mississauga Library System, will receive the OPLA Children and Youth Services Committee Children's Librarian of the year. Always an original and astute leader in the scene, Kyle receives this belated credit for years of innovation and leadership with everyone's enthusiasm. He is currently Chair of the Canadian Association of Children's Librarians at CLA. He has presented on-line courses for the Education Institute on resources for kids to public and school librarians.
