Join the Celebration

In recognition of the Civic Centre's 25th Anniversary, residents are invited to come out and enjoy a weekend of celebration on September 28, 29 & 30.

2012 Mississauga Urban Design Awards

Mississauga Civic Centre

2012 Mississauga Urban Design Awards will be presented in the Council Chamber. The evening will also include a special presentation by keynote speakers Michael Kirkland, architect for the Civic Centre and George Baird, architect who was the professional advisor to the selection jury of the 1987 national design competition.

Culture Days

Mississauga Celebration Square

Be one of the first to see the "Eyes to I's" photo exhibit which will be displayed on the Square's large digital screens. The exhibit will feature experiences captured through the lenses of both amateur and professional photographers who submitted their favourite photos taken in and around the iconic, Civic Centre over the past 25 years.

Residents and visitors will have the opportunity to explore the Mississauga Civic Centre as they've never seen it before. Enjoy a guided tour and learn about the building's unique architecture, features and function.

Mississauga residents young and old are invited to come out and be a part of history in the making by joining in the 25th Anniversary celebration of the Mississauga Civic Centre, part of Mississauga's Culture Days weekend.

Mississauga Culture Days takes place from September 28 until September 30 and includes the Mississauga Urban Design Awards, Doors Open and Take 3.
