The Port Credit waterfront was named the number one public space in the Greater Toronto Area
by Spacing Magazine, a Toronto-based urban landscape and lifestyle publication. In total, there
were 135 judges from across the country who selected the top 100 best public spaces in
Canada.
The Port Credit Waterfront was selected because of it's year-round accessibility and its
ability to evoke its respective city. It was acknowledged for its picturesque views, the
marinas, beaches and wooded hiking and biking trails; and also for its pubs and
walkability.
