As the daytime shortens and the temperature begins to cool, Mississauga will become alive with colour. For almost six weeks during the fall, Mississauga will be set ablaze with a magnificent display of autumn colours from yellow and orange to rust, red and brown.
There will be plenty of opportunity to enjoy the fall colours from mid-October into November at one of the City’s scenic landscapes, parks, forests, woodlands, trails and streetscapes. Residents and visitors can bask in the city’s diverse tree canopy, which is home to more than two million trees. The unique canopy features a selection of tree species like poplars, maples, oaks, hickories and willows.
