City to Review 2012 Accessibility Achievements Next Week

On January 21, the Accessibility Advisory Committee will review the City of Mississauga's performance based on the goals that were set in 2012.

Mississauga's 2012 Accessibility Plan outlines how the City will continue to improve services for people with disabilities from 2012 to 2017.  The plan focuses on implementing a range of new provincial accessibility standards included in a regulation made under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 MiWay's Accessibility Plan focuses on transit accessibility.
