Speakers Series Kicks Off With A World Of Ideas And Visions For The Future

Next Tuesday, the City of Mississauga's "A Conversation About Building A City For The 21st Century" speakers series continues with Dr. Roberta Bondar -- astronaut, physician and photographer. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear what this visionary thinks about Mississauga's future.

Dr. Bondar will share the stage with Tim Jones, executive director of Artscape (a company specializing in building creative communities), management consultant, developer and activist who is a champion of arts-driven revitalization and culture-led regeneration.

November 6   - Justin Trudeau and Larry Beasley (tickets are sold out for this event)

The speaker series is the first step in the City's campaign, "A Conversation with Mississauga about Building a City for the 21st Century." All Mississauga residents are invited to attend the speaker series, volunteer for the visioning symposium or go to the "21st Century Conversation" website to participate in a discussion group, or complete surveys posted throughout the campaign.
