The opening ceremony for the Confederation Parkway bridge will be held on Thursday, August
28 at 10 a.m.

Confederation Parkway Bridge Opening Ceremony:
The Confederation Parkway Bridge features multi-use walkways for pedestrians, accent lighting,
designated bike lanes for cyclists and a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour for vehicles.
Mississauga Transit route 66 will begin service on the new bridge on September 2, 2008.
