The City of Mississauga's Park Development unit is hosting a public open house to showcase
the proposed design concept for Lakeside Park, the first park from the Waterfront Parks
Strategy to undergo development.
What: Public Open House for Lakeside Park
In March 2008, the City of Mississauga completed the Waterfront Parks Strategy plan which
included a conceptual design for Lakeside Park.
The City has developed a detailed proposed design for the park which includes:
- children's play areas
- spray pad facility
- leash-free area
- picnic areas
- open lawn/performance area
- public washroom
- maintenance building
- multi-use trails
- landscaped areas
- preserved and enhanced natural areas
