The spring and summer edition of Active Mississauga will be delivered by The
Mississauga News on Friday, February 13 and Sunday, February 15. This is the final home
delivery of the publication, which features Recreation and Park programs. It will continue to
be available at your local community centre, library and at www.mississauga.ca/connect2rec.
"City staff continually review this publication to ensure it is current and relevant
for Mississauga's growing and increasingly active population," said Community Services
Commissioner Paul Mitcham. "In addition to the guide, Mississauga residents can access our
online version of the guide, Connect2Rec, which offers one-stop shopping for all your
recreational needs 24 hours a day, including facility bookings, program information and

Residents who do not receive the guide on the delivery dates should call The Mississauga
News' hotline at 905-273-8110, by February 28, and a copy will be delivered to them
Starting in fall 2009, the City will discontinue its door-to-door home delivery of the guide
to help keep the cost of recreational programs affordable. Copies can be picked up at your
local community centre, library or visit www.mississauga.ca/connect2rec.
