The City of Mississauga's Earth Days events, sponsored by AstraZeneca
and Royal Bank of Canada, will feature the 20-Minute Makeover, a citywide community cleanup, a
tree planting event at Shelby Park and a new litter hotspot identification program.

and gloves and
join the thousands
across Ontario who will volunteer for 20 minutes to pick up litter around their workplace,
school or community. Register and have a tree planted on
behalf of your group at Shelby Park.

neighbours or community groups to tackle litter on your street, boulevard, local park or

Meeting Location: Playground at the north-east corner of Shelby Park
Come out and celebrate Earth Days with the City of Mississauga and Evergreen. Learn about the
City's first model reforestation site and how to get involved at other sites in Mississauga. We
will be planting native trees, shrubs and conducting general trail maintenance.
Identify a litter hotspot
in our City and submit it at www.mississauga.ca/earthdays or help us tackle
trash by becoming a LitterNot participant by adopting a park or street. For more
