Students Celebrate the Importance of Arbor Day

Join City of Mississauga Ward 1 Councillor Carmen Corbasson, members of the City's Parks and Forestry Unit, and students and staff from Kenollie Public School as they celebrate Arbor Day with a special assembly and tree planting ceremony.

"This is a wonderful opportunity to help promote the awareness of trees and the importance of conservation to children in our community," said Ward 1 Councillor Carmen Corbasson. "Celebrating Arbor Day benefits and protects future generations."

Each year, the City partners with a different local school to host a special tree planting ceremony to spread the awareness of Arbor Day.
