The City of Mississaugas air-conditioned recreation facilities and libraries, as well
as indoor pools and spray pads are open during regular hours of operation through the current
extreme hot weather conditions.
We encourage the public to take advantage of the Citys recreation facilities,
pools and splash pads and get relief from the summer hot weather today and throughout the
season, said Recreation and Parks Director John Lohuis.
The City has 11 community centres,13 open libraries, 11 indoor and one operating outdoor
pool and 17 spray pads located throughout Mississauga. For more information about
