Star Light, Star Bright: Capture the Magic of the Season at Mississauga’s Tree Lighting

Mayor Hazel McCallion and Members of Council capture the magic of the season with a sparkling “Star Light, Star Bright” Tree Lighting this Friday nightin the Living Arts Centre Park. 

What: Mississauga Tree Lighting
*Star-gaze with astronomers
*Create cosmic crafts and gingerbread cookies
*Stare up at the galaxy from the Royal Ontario Museum Starlab
*Be dazzled by a Star Light Cirque Spectacular
*Groove to a Motown Holiday Show featuring R&B/Soul quartet BLuSouL
*Check out a dynamic performance by TVOKids Don’t Sit Still

Donate children's skates at the event to get on Santa's nice list.  Skates will be used to increase participation in the City of Mississauga Enersource Got Skates? program. Visit for program information. 

Friday also kicks off the Rotary Club of Mississauga's "Rotary Festival of Lights."  Experience Brilliance with 100 festive lit trees and 70,000 LED lights on display at City Centre from November 19, 2010 to January 21, 2011.
