At its upcoming Inaugural Council Meeting, the City of Mississauga welcomes the new 2010 – 2014 Council.

WHO: Mayor and Members of Council to make Declaration of Office with Senior Regional Justice of the Peace Creelman
Invocation: Dr. Arafat Elashi, Islamic Society of North America
Blessing: Bishop Walker, Praise Cathedral Worship Centre
Benediction: Father Pankiw, St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church

WHEN: Wednesday, December 1, 2010
Meeting: 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Reception: 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.

WHERE: Mississauga Civic Centre, 300 City Centre Drive
(Burnhamthorpe Road and Hurontario Street)

The Inaugural Council Meeting will be held in the Council Chamber. A reception will follow in the Great Hall.
