Mississauga residents are invited to share their favourite sport memory online and get
involved by attending a public meeting, as the City looks for feedback on its draft Sport
What: Sport Plan Public Meeting
Take part in a review of the City's draft Sport Plan, created to help develop, promote and deliver quality sport
experiences and physical activities for residents of all ages and abilities.
When: Tuesday, March 26, 2013
Where: Mississauga Valley Community Centre, Program Room 1 (Lower Level)

Until April 19, residents can also visit the website and leave a message about their favourite sport memory for possible
inclusion in the Sport Plan. Review the plan at mississauga.ca/sportplan.
Stories of inspiration, memories of personal achievement and lifelong friendships are
often the result of participating in sport, explained Howie Dayton, director, Recreation.
Personal experiences serve as inspiration as we build a plan that supports our City's
sport community and creates a sense of belonging.
