Apr 08, 2013

The City of Mississauga kicks off its annual Earth Days campaign featuring litter clean ups, tree plantings and Mississauga's 20-Minute Make Over.

"The wonderful part about living green in our city is that you don't need to look far to get involved," said Ward 11 Councillor and Environmental Advisory Committee Chair, George Carlson. "There are a number of community events and activities for the entire family to enjoy. Whether it's cleaning up your neighbourhood, adopting a local park, tree planting or riding your bike to school or work, you can make a difference every day. By promoting a green culture today, we are building a sustainable environment for the future."
