City of Mississauga Celebrates Outstanding Citizens

The City of Mississauga's Civic Award of Recognition evening will honour more than 100 Mississauga residents for their outstanding contribution to the community.

When:

Tuesday, May 7, 2013
Ceremony: 7 to 8 p.m.
Reception: 8 to 9 p.m.

Where:

Mississauga Civic Centre, 300 City Centre Drive
(Burnhamthorpe Road and Duke of York Boulevard)

The ceremony will be held in the Council Chamber. The reception will follow in the Great Hall.

What:

The City of Mississauga has been honouring residents through the Civic Recognition program since 1992. Other awards in the program include the Certificate of Recognition, the Civic Award of Merit and the Civic Award of Philanthropy.
