The Mayor, members of City Council, and Sheridan College are pleased to announce the
official opening of Scholars Green, a new community park in downtown Mississauga.
What:
The official opening ceremony, hosted by the Mayor, members of Council, and Sheridan College
will begin at 6 p.m.
Following the ceremony, programming will include:
- Central Library story time
- Peel Regional Police bike and cruiser display
- Animal Services display
- MiWay bus and display

Background
Located adjacent to the Sheridan College Campus is Scholars Green, a public park that brings the college and community together
