Ward Rides Are Here Again! Residents Invited to Explore their Communities by Bike

This Thursday, May 16, residents are invited to ride their bikes and explore Ward 3 with their Councillor Chris Fonseca and members of the Mississauga Cycling Advisory Committee (MCAC). This is the first Ward Ride of the season.

Media are invited to attend this early evening event.

What: The 2013 Ward Rides series features casual community rides in each ward almost every week during the spring and summer. This series is designed to encourage residents to get on their bikes and explore many cycling routes in their neighbourhoods, week by week. Suitable for families -all are welcome.

Meet at 6:15 p.m. Depart at 6:30 p.m.

Where:
The 13.3 kilometre community ride of Ward 3 begins and ends at Rockwood Mall at the south east corner of Dixie Road and Rathburn Road.

The Ward Rides are an initiative led by MCAC with City Council Representative, Chris Fonseca, and with support from the City’s Cycling Office.
