Learn about tools and resources available to Culture Days participants at an information
session hosted by the City of Mississauga's Culture Division.
"We're excited to bring the artists, cultural groups and businesses of Mississauga
together to plan for Culture Days 2013," said Susan Burt, director, Culture, City of
Mississauga. "Culture Days is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the amazing artistic
talent and cultural vitality of our city."
"Hosting these learning events is one of the many activities that volunteer community
organizers engage in to make Culture Days happen across the breadth of this great
province," said Warren Garrett, Chair of the volunteer task force for Ontario Culture
This information session is aimed at helping participants increase the impact and success of
their Culture Days activities. It is open to artists, professional and volunteer-run cultural
groups, libraries, museums, schools, businesses and anyone else wishing to support or
participate in the fourth annual pan-Canadian celebration of arts and culture taking place from
September 27 to 29, 2013.

Mississauga Central Library, Noel Ryan Auditorium, 301 Burnhamthorpe Road West
Ontario Culture Days staff will be in attendance to answer questions.
This year's Culture Days weekend will take place on September 27, 28 and 29, 2013. Once again,
the event will feature free, hands-on, interactive activities that invite the public to
participate behind the scenes and to discover the world of artists, creators, historians,
