Mayor Hazel McCallion invites Mississauga taxpayers to a Town Hall style meeting on Tuesday,
May 17 to understand how the funds generated through property taxes are being used to fund the
Citys roads and water systems.
Our first Budget Town Hall meeting was so successful that I want to continue the
conversation with residents on how we manage the funding for roads and water systems throughout
the City, said Mayor McCallion. Its important for residents to understand how
we come up with the budget for the City and how their tax dollars are being used to provide

representatives from the Region of Peel to explain the services that are supported by property
