The City of Mississauga will officially welcome 14 new recruits to the Mississauga Fire and
Emergency Services (MFES) team.

After having been selected from a pool of more than 1500 candidates, and then completing a 12
week long training course, 14 fire suppression recruits will become permanent members of the
Citys fire service and two co-operative students from local high schools will be
