Mississauga Recreation & Parks, with the MayorÂ’s Youth Advisory Committee (MYAC) and the
Mississauga Youth Action Team, will host “YouthConnect 2011” – the first event to involve youth
from across the city in developing community relationships and linkages to other youth in a fun
and interactive way.
Friday, July 29, 2011 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Mississauga Celebration Square
300 City Centre Drive
(Duke of York and City Centre Drive)
“YouthConnect 2011” is an exciting opportunity for youth to play, create, compose and engage
at a pre-event before the My Mississauga Youth concert program on the same date.
Displays and booths will highlight the youth agencies and programs that provide information and
support to young adults, and connect them to ways they can become involved in the community.
The event will also feature local youth volunteer artists, musicians and skateboarders who
will “show their stuff.”
