Learn to use a roundabout safely at City of Mississauga information booths

Aug 05, 2011

City of Mississauga staff will be present at information booths to provide tips on safely navigating a roundabout in preparation for the fall opening of the city's first downtown roundabout at the intersection of Duke of York Boulevard and Square One Drive.

"Transportation and Works staff will be available at information booths to educate and promote the safe usage of roundabouts," said Steve Barrett, manager, Transportation Asset Management. "Staff will offer tips on how pedestrians, cyclists and drivers can safely use a roundabout. An interactive animation of the roundabout and brochures will be available to assist residents and staff will be on hand to answer questions."
