Canadian Forces Veterans may ride with a companion for free on MiWay on the day of the
Warriors' Day Parade Saturday, August 20, 2011.
"Veterans must wear their uniforms, medals or another item that clearly identifies them as
a veteran to a Transit Operator so they don't have to pay a fare like other passengers that
day," said Geoff Marinoff, director of Transit. "Veterans are respectfully asked to
identify their companion to the Transit Operator so that he or she may also ride for

to recognize veterans and their service.
