Picture Your Pet Launch Day - Get A Pet Licence Discount At A Neighbourhood Location Near You

Oct 11, 2011

To launch the MY PET licence outreach initiative, City of Mississauga Animal Services will hold a pet portrait day on Saturday, October 15 at South Common Community Centre. This free “Picture your Pet” photo is a thank you for being a responsible pet owner and complying with the City’s licensing bylaw by purchasing a dog or cat licence.

In October and November, Mississauga residents will be able to purchase a pet licence during extended hours at 14 convenient locations throughout the City. As an added incentive, residents who purchase a MY PET licence at a neighbourhood location before November 30 will save 25 per cent of the licence fee.

What:
“Picture Your Pet” photo opportunity and launch of community outreach locations

Where:
South Common Community Centre, 2233 South Millway
(Burnhamthorpe Road and Erin Mills Parkway)

When:
Saturday, October 15, 2011
9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Why:
MY PET licences provide vital information that not only helps the City return lost pets home quickly, but also tells others that your pet is not homeless and is only a phone call away from going home.
