City of Mississauga Holiday Hours of Operation

City of Mississauga administrative offices are closed at noon on Friday, December 23, 2011 to Monday, January 2, 2012 and will reopen on Tuesday, January 3, 2012. A number of public and recreation services will operate on a holiday schedule during the closure period.

MiWay – The New Mississauga Transit
Visit www.miway.ca/holidayseasonservice for transit service levels from December 19, 2011 to January 2, 2012. Free and extended evening service is offered on New Year’s Eve.

Museums of Mississauga
Museums of Mississauga including: Benares Historic House; Bradley Museum; and Leslie Log House will operate on holiday hours between December 23, 2011 and January 2, 2012. The museums will be reopen for a guided tour on December 28, 2011 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Regular hours will begin on January 3, 2012.

Public and Recreation Services
Mississauga Seniors’ Centre and Provincial Offences Office are open on December 23, 2011 until noon and will operate on holiday hours until January 2, 2012. Animal Services, Mississauga Library System and Recreation Facilities will operate on holiday hours between December 24, 2011 and January 2, 2012. Regular hours will begin January 3, 2012.

The Art Gallery of Mississauga
The Art Gallery of Mississauga will reopen on January 1, 2012 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for the Mayor’s New Year’s Day Levee as well as January 12, 2012 at 6 p.m. for the Visual Arts Mississauga’s 34th Annual Juried Show of Fine Arts. Regular hours will begin January 13, 2012.
