City of Mississauga Family Day Programs and Services

City of Mississauga recreation facilities will offer a variety of drop-in activities on Family Day, Monday, February 20 and MiWay will operate on a Sunday schedule.

Recreation Facilities

A special Family Day Pass will be available for $8.10 at local facilities on February 20 and can be used for multiple activities at participating indoor facilities throughout the day.  A Family Day Pass is valid for up to five people; at least one person must be 16 years of age or older. 

For locations, schedules and hours of operation, please visit www.mississauga.ca/familyday.  Family Day program schedules also available at community centres and arenas.

Outdoor Skating

Mississauga Celebration Square is hosting a Family Day Skate from 2 – 4 p.m. on February 20.  The free skate features figure skating performances and gourmet food truck treats (for purchase).

Family Day Hours of Operation

MiWay

MiWay will operate on a Sunday schedule.  Customers can find customized route and schedule information at www.miway.ca, or by calling 905-615-INFO (4636) for customer information. To view scheduled departure times on a smart phone or other mobile device, visit m.miway.ca.

Libraries

All libraries will be closed on Sunday, February 19 and Monday, February 20.

Animal Services

Animal Services will be closed.  Officers will be on standby for emergencies only and can be reached at 905-615-3000.

Administrative Offices

Civic Centre, Courthouse, 3-1-1 Call Centre will be closed.
