Mississauga residents still have a chance to contribute their thoughts and ideas on second
units by filling out an online survey. The
survey will be available at mississauga.ca/housingchoices
24 hours a day, seven days a week until March 31.
Ontario laws now require municipalities to allow second units, also known as basement
apartments or in-law suites, in homes. The City held five well-attended Second Units Public
Workshops across the City in late February and early March, in addition to a stakeholder

consultation workshops on second units. To fill out a survey online until March 31, or to find
