The City of Mississauga kicks off its annual Earth Days campaign featuring events for the whole the family to enjoy.
These 2012 events include:
Litter Awareness Blitz at Mississaugas transit terminals on Friday, April 13
annual 20-Minute Makeover on Friday, April 20 at 2 p.m. followed by the community cleanup on
Saturday, April 21
and two tree planting events one taking place at Kings Park and one at Erindale Park on
Saturday, April 21 at 9 a.m.
As a city, we value our shared responsibility to keep our communities clean and litter-free,
said Ward 11 Councillor and Environmental Advisory Committee Chair, George Carlson. By
promoting a green culture, we can contribute to a legacy of a sustainable and beautiful
