It's time to showcase public works in the City of Mississauga including painted road lines,
traffic signals, storm drainage, road construction/maintenance, and the daily operation of
MiWay. These essential services help make daily commutes possible and will be highlighted
during National Public Works Week (NPWW).
"Our Transportation and Works department is committed to providing our residents with the
essential services that make daily tasks easier," said Martin Powell, commissioner,
Transportation and Works Department. "I encourage you to join us in celebrating National
Public Works Week by learning more about the role of public works and participating in free
tours of our facilities."
