The City of Mississaugas Corporate Security Bike Patrol will be conducting its
annual litter awareness blitz on Saturday, July 21 in the following five parks: Jack Darling
Memorial Park, Richard's Memorial Park, Meadowvale Conservation Area, Erindale Park and
Mississaugas Corporate Security Bike Patrol will be reminding visitors who are enjoying our
parks this summer to be conscious of where they dispose of their trash or be fined $365, said

To help fight the battle against litter in Mississauga, the City is targeting the problem by
changing attitudes and creating litter consciousness. To achieve this goal, the City has
revitalized Dont be a LitterBug. This includes a number of initiatives including a school
program, presence at events, litter awareness blitzes and a new website which is easy to
navigate for programs like adopting a park or street. For more
