Experience Culture in Mississauga: Discover Culture Days Events

Sep 21, 2012

Experience culture in Mississauga by celebrating Culture Days from September 28 to 30, 2012.

"Culture Days will feature free, hands-on, interactive activities that encourage residents to participate in arts and culture in the city," said Susan Burt, director, Culture Division.

On September 28, the celebration will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the Mississauga Urban Design Awards at the Mississauga Civic Centre, followed by an audio-video disco presented by ElectriCITY Events at Mississauga Celebration Square.

In addition, a special presentation featuring the Eyes to I's photo exhibit will be displayed on the Mississauga Celebration Square digital screens to mark the 25th anniversary of the Mississauga Civic Centre. This photo exhibit will feature photos taken in and around the Mississauga Civic Centre over the past 25 years. A complimentary digital media performance by contemporary media artist Faisal Anwar entitled /TITRA will animate this exhibit.

Doors Open Mississauga will take place on September 29 with over 40 sites across the City opening their doors for tours and family activities.
