Earth Days are here and the City of Mississauga will once again be hosting a variety of community plantings and litter cleanup events involving businesses, schools, residents and church groups.

Earth Days provides an opportunity for businesses, schools and residents to get involved and participate in environmental events that help keep Mississauga clean and green.

Community and Corporate Cleanups - April 17 to May 1

Corporations, schools, community and church groups in Mississauga are conducting cleanups in parks, roadways and boulevards throughout the city. Earth Days Environmental Display - Square One Mall
Saturday, April 24, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Second Floor
Hosted by EcoSource Mississauga

On Saturday, April 24, City partner EcoSource Mississauga will be hosting an environmental fair at Square One Shopping Centre. Exhibitors will include the City of Mississauga's anti-litter programs such Litterbug, LitterNot, as well as Water Quality and Air Quality and various conservation and horticultural participants.

There will be a variety of interactive activities for all ages including EcoSource Mississauga's popular story telling sessions of Dr. Seuss's "The Lorax", a children's craft making hand-made paper from recycled paper and a super-sized board game testing participants environmental knowledge.
