MISSISSAUGA, October 24, 2012 – Mississauga Celebration Square staff are making the most of the mild temperatures during the last weekend of October and will be organizing a variety of exciting events on Saturday, October 27.
What: Food Truck Eats 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Square’s most popular food truck vendors will be onsite, including: Urban Smoke Fusion BBQ, Fidel Gastro's, Bonfire Catering, Gourmet Gringos, Hank Daddy's BBQ, Rome'n Chariot, Cupcake Diner, Pretty Sweet, and Beavertails Pastry. In partnership with Ontario Food Trucks.
Imagination Park Noon to 5 p.m.
Imagination Park is a series of giant, movable play pieces designed by Imagination Playground™. Children of all ages are invited to play at Imagination Park – an interactive playground made of giant, movable blocks – in its final weekend at the Square. In the spirit of Halloween, kids are encouraged to come to the Square in costume this weekend! For more information, visit http://imaginationplayground.com/.
Paper Road Noon to 5 p.m.
This weekend, the City’s Culture Division and comic art collective, Spent Pencils, will transform the centre roadway through the Square into a paper road. The public is invited to write, draw, and leave messages on the roadway, using superheroes and action figures as inspiration.
