Ring in 2014 with DJs, Live Performances and Skating on Mississauga Celebration Square

Be a part of the celebration on Mississauga Celebration Square this New Year's Eve. The free event features performances by Mia Martina, Massari and PRTY H3RO.

 

"From free performances and an outdoor skating party to delicious treats from gourmet food trucks, this year's celebration has everything," said Susan Burt, director, Culture Division. "To cap off the night we will be counting down to midnight with a spectacular fireworks show."

 

What/Who:     Mississauga’s 3rd Annual New Year’s Eve Celebration

When:             Tuesday, December 31, 2013, 8 p.m. – Midnight

8 p.m.              Video Skate Party: Best of 2013 with Mississauga’s own DJ Dopey

9:30 p.m.        PRTY H3RO live performance, main stage

10:30 p.m.      Mia Martina, main stage

11 p.m.            Massari performs, main stage

11:55 p.m.      Countdown to midnight, including greetings from Mayor Hazel McCallion

 

Mississauga-based Ambitious Movement, the Mississauga Celebration Square Hype Crew will be entertaining the crowd throughout the celebration.

Event activities are weather permitting.  Please be advised that road closures will be in effect in the City Centre between December 31 and January 1.  For a map of the closures, visit www.mississaugacelebrationsquare.ca.

 

Take MiWay to the Square and ride free on New Year’s Eve!  Free service on all routes runs from 7 p.m. on December 31 until 4 a.m. on January 1.  If your plans involve travelling after midnight, extended evening service details are available at miway.ca/holidayservice.
