Public Input Needed: Taxi Licences

The February 4, 2014 Public Vehicle Advisory Committee meeting will consider information and input around how taxi licences are issued, including accessible taxi licences, to ensure public needs and taxi service requirements are balanced.

What:
At this meeting, the committee will consider issuing new taxi licences pending further input from stakeholders and the public. 

The City of Mississauga taxi cab plates are issued based on criteria such as: number of trips dispatched by brokerages, increase in the business industry, population increases or decreases and other factors.
