Photo Opportunity: Expect Colour Galore as 3,200 Riders begin 7th Annual Tour de Mississauga this Su

Don't miss this action oriented photo opportunity. More than 3,200 riders in brightly coloured Tour de Mississauga T-shirts and jerseys will leave Mississauga Celebration Square this Sunday morning to ride in the seventh annual Tour de Mississauga.
 

The Mississauga Cycling Advisory Committee encourages you to join cyclists of all ages and levels from our Mayor Hazel McCallion, 93, and Frank Toth, 78, (recent Phil Green Recognition Award winner) to a 10 year-old boy who will cycle in the new 120 kilometre City Classic Ride.

What: Tour de Mississauga - Beginning and ending at Mississauga Celebration Square. The event has five different routes.

7 a.m.         120 City Classic Ride departs
7:45 a.m.    Opening Remarks/Photo opportunity with Mayor Hazel McCallion
8 a.m.          100 km Challenge Road Ride departs
8:30 a.m.     60 km Signature Ride departs
9:30 a.m.     30 km Leisure Ride departs
10:30 a.m.  15 km Family Ride departs

Where: Mississauga Celebration Square
300 City Centre Dr. (Duke of York Blvd. and Burnhamthorpe Rd. W.)
