2012 Tree Lighting
Kick Off the Holiday Season at Mississauga Celebration Square Tree Lighting

“Light Up the Trees” at Mississauga Celebration Square at the 2012 Tree Lighting Celebration.  Join Mayor Hazel McCallion, Members of Council and special guests on Saturday, November 24 for free family fun.

“This year’s Tree Lighting is not to be missed,” said Melissa Agius, manager of events for Mississauga Celebration Square.  “The skating rink will be officially opened for the season and the Square will be filled with beautiful lights.  Kids can even visit Santa in his workshop right here on the Square!”

Highlights include:

  • DJ skate party
  • Cirque spectacular featuring Canada’s Got Talent finalists who recently toured with Cirque du Soliel, Zero Gravity Circus
  • Mississauga’s own Rhythm Works
  • Magic shows
  • Delicious treats from gourmet food trucks and the Civic Centre’s new C Cafe.

The 2012 Mississauga Tree Lighting event is presented by RBC.  Global Toronto is the official media sponsor.  The celebration will kick off a season of winter events at the Square, including skate parties and the second annual New Year’s Eve party.
