34th Mississauga Urban Design Awards Celebrate Design Excellence

Sep 15, 2016

The City of Mississauga will honour urban design excellence at an awards ceremony on Thursday, September 22. The ceremony will celebrate the 34th anniversary of the Mississauga Urban Design Awards program.

This year's theme of "Transformation by Design" looks at how the City of Mississauga transformed through time - from individual communities in the early seventies into Canada's sixth largest city. Mississauga is also a top-ten large North American city of the future to live in for its connectivity and business friendliness. This transformation happened by design through the interaction of people and places and the way buildings shaped together to create quality spaces and living standards.
