Lakeshore Connecting Communities Public Meetings

The City of Mississauga is holding public meetings in early November about planning for the future of Lakeshore Road. The Lakeshore Connecting Communities study will look at how to best connect the communities of Clarkson, Port Credit and Lakeview while preserving and enhancing the unique character and sense of place of each community.

Help us develop a transportation vision for Lakeshore Road at an upcoming Public Meeting.

Location: Mississauga Seniors’ Centre, 1389 Cawthra Road
Time: 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Date: November 7
Location: Clarke Memorial Hall, 161 Lakeshore Road West
Time: 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Date: November 8
Location: Chartwell Baptist Church, 1880 Lakeshore Road West
Time: 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Lakeshore Connecting Communities will build on recent planning studies. It will develop a design for the Lakeshore Road corridor that supports all modes of transportation, connects people to places and moves goods to market. The study will also evaluate rapid transit alternatives east of Hurontario Street as well as extending rapid transit into the Port Credit area.
