Newcomers Invited! Mississauga Welcome Day is Back

On October 14, newcomers to Mississauga are invited to attend Mississauga Welcome Day at the Civic Centre. The event will include a welcome ceremony, information booths and activities for all ages. Newcomers will have the chance to learn more about City programs, services and community resources to help settle into their new life.

Learn about Mississauga’s municipal government, history and the many City programs and community services available to newcomers.

Saturday, October 14, 2017

Time:

10 to 10:30 a.m. Newcomer Information Fair
10:30 to 11 a.m. Welcome Ceremony with Members of Council and Wali Shah, Poet Laureate
11 to 11:30 a.m. Meet and Greet with Members of Council
1 to 4 p.m. Bus tour stopping at Central Library, Fire Station 122 and the Benares Historic House. Participants must pre-register to attend.
