Residents Invited to Mayor's Budget Town Hall Meeting on Human Services and Waste Management

Mayor Hazel McCallion is holding a Town Hall meeting to focus on the City & Regional Budgets. City of Mississauga Director of Finance, Patti Elliott-Spencer will present a brief overview of what City & Region of Peel taxes pay for; explain the tax bill and the services that are supported by local taxes.

Region of Peel staff will present an overview on Human Services and Waste Management programs, including resource allocation, the cost of service delivery, opportunities and funding challenges.

Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions following the presentation.

Leading up to and during the meeting, residents are encouraged to ask questions, submit feedback and follow the discussion LIVE via Twitter.

The event will also air live on Rogers Cable 10 and streamed on demand following the event at www.rogerstv.com.
