Mayor Hazel McCallion is holding a Town Hall meeting to focus on the 2011 Budget. The service area presenting will be MiWay - The new Mississauga Transit. City Manager Janice Baker will present a brief overview of what City taxes pay for; explain the tax bill and the services that are supported by local taxes. MiWay staff will present an overview on the business of delivering local transit, including resources, outline what is driving up the costs of service delivery, opportunities for improving service and funding challenges.
Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions following the presentation.
