Description: A paper magazine. The title page is beige with black lettering. It has an image of Greek man in a trireme style boat with a full sail. "The Argosy, edited by Mrs. Henry Wood, December, 1885, No. 241, vol. 40, H.Bentley & Sons: 8 New Burlington Street, London, W" is printed on the front cover. The name " M. Lindsay, Rose Terrace” is written in pencil on the front cover. History: Mrs. Matilda Lindsay (c. 1802-1887) is the Scottish sister of Captain James B. Harris of Benares Historic House, who lived at Rose Terrace in Perth with her sister, Margaret Patton and her cousin, Margaret Anne Patton. She often sent care packages to the Harris family including many magazines and books.
