Description: Original hand-written poem on white writing paper. Two and a half stanzas on front side; the final half stanza on the reverse. The script is black ink, by fountain pen, very large and open. There are fold lines to one sixth and also to one quarter. Handwritten in one of the folded sections is: "Aunt Mary" The poem is transcribed under accession number 2005.1.146. History: The item is part of a box of original papers, letters, transcripts, and research notes compiled and transcribed by Geoffrey and Kathleen Sayers. Mary Magrath Harris's sister, Isabel (or Minnie) Magrath married Edwin Crickmore. Their daughter, Mary Crickmore is a niece of Mary Harris.
