Description: .1) A handwritten note on white notepaper to "Minnie" requesting her to come up north for an occasion. The note refers to: James, Charly, Mrs. Harris, Bessy, the girls. The signature is: "your affectionate old husband, Willie". The paper is folded vertically and is embossed at the top proper left with: an oval and lettering reading: "??? emis, London." .2) A single-spaced typewritten transcript of letter 2005.1.160.1-.2 on scrap white office paper. The reverse of the transcript is typewritten text about insurance rates for private passenger cars in Ontario in 1966. The item is part of a box of original papers, letters, transcripts, and research notes compiled and transcribed by Geoffrey and Kathleen Sayers. Mrs. Harris and Bessy refer to Elizabeth Harris and her eldest daughter Bessie (Elizabeth) Harris.
