Description: A cream coloured and gold rectangular box with a detachable lid. The top of the box reads "Bill's Shoes 1922" and "H.J. Howe. Inc., Jewelers Since 1860, Syracuse." There are bands of gold stripes forming a geometric pattern on the box. The bottom of the box is plain.

The baby shoes are contained in a box that has written on it "Bill's Shoes 1922." The shoes belonged to William (Bill) Bridgeford born in Toronto, September 14, 1922. Williamís parents were Benjamin William Bridgeford (d. Nov 1980) and Isabelle Bridgeford who lived at 1321 Lansdowne Ave in Toronto. William married Anne Wilcock Osborne on June 28, 1948 in her hometown of Kapuskasing, Ontario. Together they raised two boys and two girls. Bill passed away May 10, 2002 at Credit Valley Hospital after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. The memorial service was held at St. Brides Church, Clarkson.
